I've just uploaded a new video of the Saab Performance Team having some fun in northern Sweden. The video also features footage of the new Saab 9-3x, which will make it's world debut at Geneva next week.
This video is available for viewing through the Saab widget as well, though if you haven't downloaded that yet (or don't want to) then you can watch the video here at Saabs United.
Some people using Internet Explorer have trouble watching video here. If that's you, then click here to watch it at Google Video or you can watch it on YouTube.
If you're OK with video, then you can watch it after the jump.
Here's the video!

Seriously though, that convertible on two wheels in the snow is nuts. That guy must have some serious balls to be able to do that and be sure he isn't going to end up eating snow.
Wonder if they deployed automatically or if it was done beforehand.
Can I order those wheels from my dealer?
If you follow the YouTube link and add &fmt=22 to the URL, you get a higher resolution version, provided your computer and connection can handle it:

The improvement is especially noticeable in full-screen mode.
Thanks for sharing this.

Why limited? because diesel versions are only an issue in Europe. In North America, where this car has the most potential, diesel is not an option. Which leaves it always with 4WD.
I can imagine right now for Saab it is not an option to get the XWD adapted to the TTiD engine, because of the limted extra sales potential.
AFAICT the .mp4 file provides the best quality of all the three possible ways of watching this clip. The high-def youtube clip is of lesser quality I think.
Anyone who wants to combat a hill with deep tracks in the snow will surely appreciate the 9-3x.
Heck, I'm a bit tempted myself.
I've double checked it, it is the normal Aero bumper.
( some new 9-5 spy shots please, cause those gets the momentum going..)
What sort of damage does that maneuver cause?
