2010 Saab 9-5 details

In Saab’s showroom of the future, where they’ve been showing Saab’s coming range to prospective Saab owners (i.e. company owners), they have a 9-3x, 9-5, 9-5 wagon and 9-4x for people to look over.
Several Saab executives posed for this photo for Dagens Industri, and Jorgen T was kind enough to scan the entire page and send it in.
Here’s the main photo, which I featured in two parts yesterday.
Left to right, that’s Eric Geers, Magnus Hansson, Mats Fagerhag and Kjell ac Bergstrom (forgive the lack of dots).
Now what’s interesting is that whilst they’ve got a cover on those cars, the covers are quite sheer and they don’t go all the way down.
I know a lot of these points were brought up in comments, but they bear repeating here on the front page now that I’ve got some bigger shots to play with (and thanks to Markac as well for some tweaked shots, but I figured I’d run with this single shot to play with)
The scan was fairly large, so when I cropped it for just the front of the 9-5, we get a fair bit of detail.

You can clearly see the huuuuuuuge grille with the continuation of the DAme Edna headlight surrounds. You can see the way the grille goes up into the line of the hood a-la the Saab 9-4x. You can also clearly see the Saab nameplate on the front of the grille, with no round badge on the hood.
And is that a bit of front lip bling I see, peeking out from under the car cover???????
Here’s a black and white version with increased contrast.
The wagon at the back is a little too far away to make out the same level of detail, but it sure does some to have some big, sleek proportions to it.
I can’t wait to see these babies in the metal for myself. Hopefully it won’t be too long now (if they’re still talking to me after that last Djup Strupe post).
