With the Koenigsegg announcement early and the 2010 Saab 9-5 CGIs late, do I really need to say it was a massive month?

I exceeded my monthly bandwidth allowance somewhere around the 19th or so and it was still very busy after that.

To the numbers:

June09pageviews.jpg

There were 441,881 pages served to 60,051 individual viewers during June here at Saabsunited.com. To put those numbers in perspective, here's the summary from last month:

Saabs United - on its own - served up just over 289,000 page views in May. That's up by around 85,000 over the previous month alone. Those pages were served up to 30,958 unique visitors, which once again was up significantly from the prior month (26,300).

June was around 50% busier in terms of pages served and those pages were served to nearly twice as many people as the month before. I fully expect July will bring us back to earth, but it's been a great month both for Saab and for saabsunited.com.

The Top 10 cities were as follows:

As always, it's time to say hello to a few special people....

Greeting to the people at Koenigsegg, who are once again viewing in greater numbers:

And hello to Augie Fabela's mates in Russia.....

RussiaJune09.jpg

Mark Bishop's family have been checking in to see what's been written about him....

And finally, greetings to our Saab dealer friends in Riyadh.

Here's to another big month in July - perhaps the final Koenigsegg announcement and some real photos of the 2010 Saab 9-5?

That'd be nice.

Great Job, Swade! You have a great product and make great conversation and debate. Enjoy the ride!

Quite a lot of interest from Zurich!

riyadh visits, I believe thats only me.

motasim,

SU is a massive success .I'm always more & more impressed .
Swade , you give a lot for your readers , and you deserve all those visitors .
Hello to Motasim from Riyadh !!

Hi Motaism,

welcome to saabs united

Motasim,

Personally, I know very little of SA and most of what I know is only from the occasional bit of network news. I don't even know what Riyadh looks like.

A Saab O The Week photo from Saudi Arabia would be most welcome :-)

Swade, you really need to fix your Gravatar.
I always scroll down to read your comments, but it is hard to do when its the same as everyone else.
bring back your old gravatar!

Jono,

I'm not even sure why it dropped out. Will have a look and remedy over the weekend as I miss having one.

Swade: how was SU activity from Brazil and Singapore? I keep wondering what is happening with those Saab dealerships...

The New York visits are because finding a Saab in Manhattan is now harder than seeing a snow leopard! (Central Park Zoo opened habitat for three snow leopards in June)

Great stuff, mate! Here's to 1m. pageviews soon. ;)

@ turbin - GM Europe folks, maybe?

We all already knew, but here's the evidence. SU is the world-leading Saabnewssource.
Great job Swade!

Swade - great write-up: incisive, lucid, factual and the occasional anecdote. This is my daily dosage. Truthfully, any article gleaned from any newsreel, I treat with kids gloves the veracity thereof has been factually confirmed here thru the comments thread. Keep it up. My mobile handset has never been this useful. About the last 9-5 rolling off the production line, what a milestone and a testament to a design that stood the test of time!

Nice work Swade. Build it & they will come.

BTW - perhaps time to re-post your how-to-create-a-gravatar lesson? I should probably get myself organised for a start.

Shall do, Pete. I've just set up a new one myself. Time to see if it's working.

Swade,

it's a good idea, I'll send you soon
