Saab 9-5 begins European tour

Saab have a new model coming and whilst they’ve shown it to the world’s press, they’re now embarking on a tour around Europe to show it off to some of the people who matter most – customers and dealers.

TTELA report that the show started yesterday with a viewing for VIP customers and dealers at ANA, the big Saab dealership in Trollhattan.
Nordic Saab dealers have also been gathering for a viewing at the Saab Museum in Trollhattan.
Attendees have been hearing from some of Saab’s top executive staff including Kjell-Åke Eriksson, the head of Saab’s Swedish sales operations, Knut Simonsson, head of Global sales and marketing, and Jan-Ake Jonsson, the head of Saab Automobile.
After these Swedish gigs are done, Saab will be packing up and taking the 9-5 on the road, with stops in around 12 European centers. Dealers in those centers will no doubt have already started preparing their customer lists and I’ve already heard from a few in the UK who will be going along to see the 9-5 for themselves.
I’ve written to Saab to try and get a list of cities (and dates) but perhaps your best chance at getting a close-up look at the Saab 9-5 is to contact your local dealer and see if they can get you in when the car comes to your neighborhood.
As I’ve said previously, you really do have to see this car for yourself.

The TTELA article also mentions that a two-week US tour will begin shortly after Christmas.
Ho Ho Ho!
