Merry Christmas from Tennessee!

Just a quick note to all to have a Happy Christmas. Here in North America it’s still Christmas morning and my children (ages 10 and 11) are still busy with the stuff that Santa brought.

I’ve been overwhelmed this Christmas with well wishes and other surprises. I hope that you have been, too.
This is a very odd time in our history — as Saab fanatics, as employees and business owners and as human beings. Naturally, we have only full control of one of those things — who we are as people. If I had one thing to say to each of you in the coming year, it would be to focus on that one aspect of your existence — be the best citizen of this planet that you can be. Car companies will come and go, jobs will come and go and even prosperity will come and go. The only thing that we can truly control is how we react to these impermanent things.
“Make the most of yourself, for that is all there is of you.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
I wish you well in 2010.
P.S.
If you’re lucky, you have a great neighbor like George to smoke you a turkey for Christmas dinner. He uses his own brine and hickory wood. Words can’t describe how good it smells. Again, I am blessed!!
