January 2010 will always be remembered as the down of a new era for Saab, and rightly so.
But for me, as a Saab blogger, the month will forever be associated with the efforts we all made together to keep Saab in the spotlight and support the company.
Hence, it seems only right that a Saab Support Convoy feature as the wallpaper for this month. More than that, it’s fitting that the photo comes from Holland, where the whole idea started.
This image was taken by Aart Goedhart and the way the low sun is hitting the cars, setting them off with a golden hue, is a fitting remembrance of what was a magical occasion. OK, so it doesn’t reflect the freezing cold weather, but it looks good ![]()

Thanks to Aart for the permission, to David J (driving the convertible) for the idea and of course, thanks to Calendar Guy for the treatment.

I want to ask to the owners of the SAAB 93 1.9 TTID (the current 93 model) waht you think of the car, because I want to buy one and I want to know if there is any problems with this model.
And congratulations to all SAAB’s owners and particulary to the blogger: YOU SAVE SAAB!

Hi Jos
Hi Carlos!
I’ve got an -08 TTID Aero, and I’m very pleased with it. It runs very good, fine handling and it’s almost as quite inside as my former -04 9-5 Vector 220.
Some minor plastics makes some rattles, but it’s not a big thing. But, I’m in for the new 9-5 so this baby gotto go. If I had the money, I would keep this as well.
Thanks, Swade and Aart. I’ll send a snapshot in, as soon as the weather permits.

I hope I don’t violate any advertising terms on here (I’m not affiliated with them anyway), but I just ordered a “WE SAVED SAAB” sticker from our friends at Driven Perfection to replace the “SAVE SAAB” one I purchased from them last month. I will look forward to driving around with it knowing that I made a tiny little difference in GM’s decision.

Actually I notice that Driven Perfection is only posting stickers to the US now? I bought a “SAVE SAAB” last month and they were happy to post anywhere including to me in Oz.
Thank you TTAero.
I wich you enjoy your future 9-5.

I saw that one too but didn’t feel right taking all the credit.
I ordered the “WE” one too, like Brett I felt like the “I” one gave _me_ just a bit too much credit.
Maybe we should each send Mr. Victor Muller an “I SAVED SAAB” decal?
wow great shot. They have beautiful roads in Holland! Not like the US Northeast, potholes everywhere
