Saab 9-5 wagon sneak-peek from Geneva

by Swade on March 3, 2010

he he…..
From the Auto Motor and Sport video interview with Victor Muller, we get a sneaky peek of the new Saab 9-5 wagon.

It was only up there for a second, but when you’ve got a pause button then a second is more than enough.
I think someone might be working on changing the slideshow fairly quickly :-)
BTW – that’s not the first time we’ve seen that image. The first time was here.
Well spotted, Erik!

For the month of February, Saab sold 97 cars in the U.S and 0 in Canada..If the dealers dont get any new cars this month, it will be even worse.
It seems as if nothing is being announced for N.A. When will U.S dealers get new cars, and when will Saab return to Canada?

It’s going to be so sweet when Saab has a 10,000% increase in next year’s “by the numbers edition” on autoblog showing February ’10 sales increase. ;-)
Not sure if everyone caught it from a few nights ago when I started getting giddy off the Hummer closing announcement. I really want to see my Hummer showroom turn into a Saab showroom. Right now they sell the Saabs next to Buicks and GMCs while Hummer gets the sweet class airplane hangar building. Mike Colleran, if you read this, you need to make some phone calls ASAP. Hummer has until May 1 to be sold, if May 1 comes and it gets liquidated, Saab should have priority for those dealerships. At the time when I made the image, I used the exact same image from behind Muller’s head above. Wouldn’t it be sweet if this image could become reality.

At the end VM says to the AMS reporter, he will show the reporter some pictures of the 9-5SC, so I don’t think the picture was only by mistake there.

Said it back then, I will repeat it now – that’s one smoking hot wagon, baby!

I agree I am such a huge Saab wagon fan. I can only hope I will be in position to purchase this when it becomes available.

Every time this man speaks, I feel more comfortable with the future of Saab – this is truly amazing.
As for the 9-5, this thing is simply beautiful and I can’t wait to see in a metallic black color :)

Wow! That image is truly challenging my 9-3 dedication! If that’s the future, then SAABs going to make a great run!

9 James Bibb March 3, 2010 at 12:54 pm

Wow, the 9-5′s seriously competing up against my preference for the 9-3. That’s a beautiful wagon.

If Mr Muller can ‘walk the walk’ as well as he ‘talks the talk’….man. The New Saab is going to be huge.

There are 8 new Saabs still sitting in Lubbock, Texas at Scoggin-Dickey Saab.
1-2008 Turbo X
1-2009 9-5
1-2009 9-7X
5-2009 9-3, 1-red, 1-snow silver, & 3-black
No, I’m not a salesman.
I like the Saabs I have: 2008 9-3 & 2009 9-3XWD.

Maybe its because they all have slush boxes instead of a proper manual……

13 Rodney March 3, 2010 at 5:15 pm

Yeah find me a Turbo X SportCombi manual and you have a sale…

14 Quijote March 3, 2010 at 5:28 pm

Why isn’t the Aero X at Geneva?!

15 peeceepeh March 3, 2010 at 5:44 pm

Well, the interview IS in English as VM is just starting to learn Swedish (as you are) ;-)

The 9-4X was also shown on the screen so I’m guessing it was part of the press release. “Our Future”.
