Sales numbers for the US market in June have arrived in my inbox.
Sales figures are still way down, of course, but it’s encouraging to see that they’ve grown a little since last month. The good news, of course, is that the growth is in the 9-3 model range, new stocks of which have only been arriving in the US quite recently.
Sales per model range:
There were 174 vehicles sold last month, so small as the over all number still is, it’s indicative of the fact that people are starting to get back in there and have a look around. That’s some positive momentum and it’s been a while since Saab dealers had any of that.
I haven’t heard anything definite yet, but the kickoff of the advertising campaigns would indicate that Saab might be getting ready for dealer launches of the 9-5 in July. Perhaps. Hopefully some more lease deals might develop as well.
It’ll be an interesting time, but congratulations to all those US dealers who hung in there and are now starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel.
