The situation: The Saab 9-5 is doing commendably, but could probably use a little help if you feel so inclined. The poll is in the right sidebar of the Autoblog.nl website.
The poll is unofficial and the result is purely superficial, but if a high-ish finish for the Saab 9-5 opens up just one person’s eyes, then it’s a good thing, eh?

Haha we totally rocked that vote. 762 votes / 26% was something like 300 votes ahead of second place. Are we sure they all came from this site though? Or do people that don’t visit this site world-wide really think the 9-5 is the best? I think that’s the case too.

Voted at home last night, was #106 for the 9-5 which was 5th. Just voted again this morning from work, I’m #790 and the closest (Merc SLS AMG) is at 466 votes. Good job people…

I really want to think that this is the result of an active SAAB community. In the long term I hope that this will help SAAB to grow with the publicity we can bring them with winning polls like this. Lets keep on voting and bring another win to the 9-5! =)

Originally it’s ‘Distributed Denial of Service’ (and written as DDoS, with the small ‘o’),
but in this context, poetic freedom is allowed.
We’re 1200 votes ahead at the moment, so it won’t be necessary to use DDoS.

I discovered that everytime I changed the page translation language in Google translate, it would bring up a fresh ballot. So I voted in Welsh, Urdu, Finnish, Yiddish, and about 50 other languages.

When i tried to vote, saab was not among the alternatives i could choose from.. I used explorer. Is this an exlorer-bug? I hade to change to an other web browser to cast my vote?

actually there is an easier way, open the link up in an incognito window(private browsing) in chrome or any other browser and you can vote as many times as you want, no need to clean cookies
