Griffin: What do you want to see?

  1. Now I have to start a hunt for a wrecked Griffin so I can switch seats. Much nicer to the eye than the Aero seats. The grain of the leather and the stitching in this the anniversary editions have always caught my attention.

  2. Hey, you’re another good photographer!
But it’s a lot easier with a photogenic car as the Saab, in general, and the latest models in particular, isn’t it? :)

    What a beauty.

    • Haha thanks and yes it’s easy. The 9-3 looks awsome in any camera πŸ˜‰

  3. Very nice pictures od a beautiful car. Really liked the closeup details, great!

  4. You failed to photograph the one part Saab needs to change on the convertible as a priority, the door top lock/unlock buttons.

Why on a car which with the top down and the windows down with beautiful clean lines must a piece of thumb sized black plastic stick up next to the driver or passengers ear and by so doing spoil the plateau-esque flat line of the car.

It’s often the little things which make great design and on the next Vert Saab should loose this for something that falls level with the door top when locked.

It’s picky but it’s the truth.

    • Is it possible that there is a standard for egress items? Like in a crash you want to know where the feature to unlock the door is without thinking about it.

That may be the one thing standard?

  5. Since the Cabrio retains the Saab safety handles, perhaps there’s a chance they make a comback in the new 9-3 and later models? :)

  6. I was a bit unfair complaining about this in the prior post in the series. I still think there could have been a tad fewer updates but these pics kinda make up for it. Black leather in a Saab never looked this great. Nice photos.

  7. Hmmm, shame the boot couldn’t be better aligned to the rest of the rear

    Apart from that, beautiful car!

  8. Very pretty indeed!
