ANA leading the way
July 15, 2011 in News
Every year the city of Trollhättan hosts a festival called “Fallens Dagar” loosly translated to “The Days of the Waterfalls“, in honor of the work that went into building the great locks and huge water powerplants located in Trollhättan.
At this event a running competition is held. This year the lead car is very special. At 1600, 9-4x number 1 will lead the runners around the course.

TimR at the the end of your article you state 9-4X number 1. Did you mean it was the first off the production line? Either way the car looks fantastic and the shot looking down happens to be a US Market version because of the tailgate.

I don’t think they will offer the two different tailgates on the 9-4x, like on the 9-5 estate. The 9-4X will simply not make the sales numbers to make it worth their while… Either way, I’m happy the 9-4X gets some much needed exposure in the streets in Sweden and the rest of Europe.

A small and friendly correction for “The Days of the Falls” – would be more accurate as “The Days of the Waterfalls”
Otherwise people may come far too late for the show…
I´m totally pleased with 9-5 but I can definitely live with some 9-4X in the streets too =)

I think the 9-3 and 9-5 cars will always be my favorites (Although I am curious to see what the upcoming 9-6 will be like).
But, every time I see more pictures of the 9-4x, I like it more and more.

Is this when they open up the sluices and let more water run through than normal? I’ve seen pics of that – it’s spectacular!

Fixed that now!
And yes, the 9-5 is amazing according to me as well.

katar1na,
What’s wrong with “falls” – it’s a perfect synonym for waterfall; not a bad translation.
(I do know what fall is, though I usually write autumn.
)

Replace “for” with “to”.
