I think mdreuben deserves a huge CONGRATULATIONS!!! from the whole SU team for being the first 9-4x owner. At least the first we have notice from.
This is what he said in a comment he wrote here earlier today:
Just got my 9-4x.
I had a Premium on order, but the dealer (Saab in North Olmsted Ohio) received their first one yesterday – a black Aero, fully loaded. I put my butt into the seat, looked around and bought it on the spot before even driving it. Picked it up an hour or so ago.
Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.
I think Cleveland, Ohio is now at least twice as interesting 
So far everything I’ve discovered on this car is pure Saab – purposeful & well designed.
Totally blown away.

Congrats on the Aero, it looks great. I just came from north shore saab in NY and they have a really nice white one, premium with nav.
I brought my wife to take a look at it, after several months of subtle hints and she fell in love with it. We are going to see if we can trade our current car in for it in the next couple of weeks. I have to say that seeing this car in person gives you a much different perspective, the attention to detail in the styling is fantastic.

This is a gorgeous vehicle. Given the chance, they will really boost sales, especially in North America. I look forward to seeing lots just like this one on the roads. Saab really needs to do a major PR push for these.

It is plenty big enough to sleep in, you can fit a small cooler bag in there (powered by the lighter socket), and there is ample room for storage.
I do not see the problem. It looks bigger than my other apartment.

Congratulations. I was at our dealer for service on Friday. I was Hoping to get a picture Or two of our 9-7 in relation To a 9-4x for size comparisons but the were still awaiting deliveries. Of course I was in and out before 9am.

I just looked them up. They have some great deals on new Saabs–$7K off 9-3 convertibles, $6K off hard top 9-3s, $9K off 9-5s. People in the area should rush in to snatch up those gorgeous cars.

Unfortunately, no. Scoggin-Dickey said that they would not be ordering or receiving a 9-4X…and they seemed to question their future with Saab. Our 9-4X is coming from Gebhardt Saab of Boulder in Colorado…hopefully it’ll come in this next week!

We still have to wait another 2 months at least until our ordered 9-4x Aero will arrive here in Switzerland. Does anyone know abiut the situation of the non available colors? We did order the beaty in grey….

Ordered mine first in cobalt grey too. But then the dealer called and said it wouldn’t be available for this year anymore. I switched to zodiak black then because i really want to get the car in september/october.

So far I did not get a call from my dealer here in Sitzerland. As it will not produced before September, maybe time is working for us and we just need to wait….
And also maybe you’ll get another call giving you the choice to change back to cobalt grey

Since you ordered your Saab 9-4X in Europe it must be a MY2012, and then the original colours should be back.

As far as i know, my car was produced last week and in black. So i think the chance of getting back to cobalt grey isn’t there anymore.
But i must say i really like the black one.
