Our thoughts go to Norway
July 23, 2011 in Editorial
I have no words to say and tears are falling down on the desk while I write this, and my heart is filled with sorrow.
On behalf of the entire Saab community we today put all our thoughts regarding Saab a side and our thoughts go to Norway and the two horrible and meaningless acts of violence that have struck the country. Our thoughts goes to the victims and their families, the wounded and their families, and all other – you are all in our hearts.
Norway – we stand by your side in these dark hours.

At present, there could be 94! people dead beside the injured persons and this is a great loss, not only for Norway, Scandinavia or Europe, but for the entire planet.
My deep, deep respect for everyone and especially for the survivors, the injured persons and not to forget: the relatives of the murdered people.
And what i almost forgot:
My deep respect for all the people who helps the survivors, the injured persons, the relatives and for any other persons who gets their help and i will thank them for everything they do, even whe it is in their mind a (very) litle thing!

This is just crazy! Pure madness!
All my thoughts to the whole Norwegian people and to our SU Norwegian friends, hoping that all their friends and family are OK.

Everything fades into nothingness when a drama of such proportions happens, the more so because it was man-made. I just spent a while wiping off tears when watching the mayhem in Oslo and thinking of the grief one -surely mentally ill- person inflicted on a whole nation. It only goes to show that extremism of any kind is utterly wrong. UTTERLY WRONG!!!
My wife and myself wish everyone in Norway all the strength they can muster in coping with this incomprehensible thing. And I sincerely hope that none of our Norwegian SU-friends has lost anyone in this terrible event..

This is a horrible tragedy for any country to experience, and we all stand with Norway.
Almost all of my ancestors came to the US from Norway and although I have not been there to visit in 25 years, I can’t even imagine the pain the country is going through now. God’s comfort and peace to everyone there.

Just one thought from me – why? I hope we get to find out the truth.

As a Norwegian on holiday in my home country, this really hits me hard. Just came back from a festival (that was cancelled) and catching up the news, tears in my eyes as I learn about all the horrific happenings…

Incredible and senseless tragedy. Surely whatever the point was is lost on all of us. Hold your children tight tonight and be thankful that you have them, parents should never have to worry about sending their kids to camp. I just can’t believe people like this exist and inflict so much pain on so many for nothing.
