Today is friday and the sun is shining so good news is a must. I have just talked to a friend who is a salesman at ANA in Trollhättan.

Yesterday a couple walked in at ANA and wanted to buy a brand new Saab. The did not care about other cars, they wanted a Saab!

And they got one. My friend found a carbongrey 9-3 Linear 2011 that was in stock and this car has now has found two new very happy owners.

It looks like the swedish media were a bit too eager to report good news about the chinese, this just came in from Just-Auto.com:

Chinese automaker Youngman is distancing itself from reports it is to inject around EUR800m (US$1.bn) into ailing Saab, although it did concede the two proposed joint ventures in China could feasibly inject capital.

The court of appeals will give an answer earliest on monday if they will grant Saab a chance to appeal the districts courts decision to deny Saab reconstruction.

Several media are today reporting that even though the court of appeals in Gothenburg received the case wednesday, more time will be needed to go through the material that Saab has submitted. Personally I see this as a good sign, that the lawyers are taking their time doing a good job with this so important case.

Somebody has filed another bankruptcy demand towards SAAB today. The identity of the company who demanded the bankruptcy is protected by the court. Both parties will be called in for negotiations within a short period of time.
