Out of action
October 25, 2011 in Uncategorized
Just to let everyone know, I will be out of action for a few days.
I’ve had a high fever ranging from 38,5 – 41 degrees with a strong caugh and sever pain in my throat for 9 days now.
I was grounded from both flying and driving since last tuesday after a visit to the doctor. I ended up with morphine based medications for my throat.
Well this evening my fever jumped so my parents brought me to the emergency room and here I am. Being injected with strong anti-biotics, oxygen and all kinds of nasty stuff, I might have to spend a few nights in the hospital…
Tomorrow I’m going to get a chest x-ray and more tests. So its safe to say that I’ll be out of action for a few days and I’m leaving SU and Saab in the capable hands of my friends in the crew…

Take it easy and above all, don’t make the classic mistake of returning to work too soon. In my book, I treat a high temp in humans the same as if my SAAB ran a fever – I’d stop the engine immediately. Very best wishes.

What will one not do for morphine based medication. Running the Saab blog is one way to get there i imagine. Krya på dig/Get better but take your time.

This does not sound good at all Mate. Take it easy and do not risk it and play with your health. Seems that these kinds of hits are now common all over the world, not just here Down Under but also Up Over in Sweden/Scandinavia. Get well soon !!!

Take care of yourself. Do yourself a favor and don’t even look at comments over the next few days. No need to add any stress while you are recovering

Your engine light just went from steady to flashing, time for a proper check up. Probably something you picked up while flying. Just relax and be pampered by the Swedish nurses. Get well…
