Salaries delayed…
November 23, 2011 in News
According to Saab employee information website the payment of salaries to the employees will be delayed this month. This according to the personnel director Johan Formgren.
- Its very sad and we once again apologize that this happens yet again. Our ambition is of course to carry out our commitments as soon as possible. We can regretfully not confirm any exact date when the salaries will be paid, but we will return with information as soon as we have some news about the situation.
The discussions are continuing at an intensive work to reach a settlement is right now going on.

Don’t like this… But i rather keep calm and carry on because if you worry too much you feel very bad deep inside also!
Fingers crossed.

I like it Daniel,
So here are two quotes from Gandhi on the theme for all hard working people out there (including loyal Saab customers)
“Man is the product of his thoughts. What he thinks, he becomes.”
“Satisfaction does not come with achievement, but with effort. Full effort is full victory.”

For all Gandhi’s efforts he managed to change only the name of the Shudra, not their lot in life. The “Harijan” or Children of God are still impoverished. That does not mean I don’t respect him for trying of course. That was the topic over coffee today; a friend returned after a month as the guest of a co-worker who comes from a family of wealth. I don’t cry often but the pictures did manage.

I thought Youngman covered these? Haven’t we been down this road before? Very sad.

Does anyone have more information about this than the “check is in the post”-story which we’ve heard?

How does it work over there? I thought a few months ago there was some mention of the government picking up the salaries but if that happens does that put “Saab” into default bankruptcy status? Would you collect a full salary? Over here they just call it a “lay off” and you get some fraction of your normal wage but there is a limiting cap. God, the worst thing here is the way the tax structure is so it usually happens right at the winter holiday season. Good luck.

Maybe YMPD banks’ didn’t give them the money? I heard that Chinese banks are into trouble as well.
