Skyblue 9-3 Griffin SportsSedan sighted *updated

This Saab 9-3 Griffin with the test-color sky-blue that we featured in March. Today a 9-3 Griffin SportSedan with that color was sighted in Saab’s neighboring city of Vänersborg by our photographer RikardH. We hope to get more photos and some ownership info soon.

I wrote about the urgent need for this tone of blue on my return from the SOC in New Jersey. But I will repeat. This is a must color in the spectrum for all SAABs.
All the main competitors offer this and so should we. Metallic is awesome but being color blind they all look too similar. This would also suit the 9-5.

I take it those are the same 19″ turbine wheels from the 9-5? So the bolt pattern is the same? Can anyoneconfirm? Hmmm. Grey and silver 19″ blade wheels might be needed for my steel grey convert.

Nope, these are 18″ wheels made for the 9-3. Wheels from the new 9-5 does not fit on the current 9-3 nor other Saab’s. The bolt-cirlce distance is bigger…
The name of these wheels are 10-spoke Turbine 18×7.5″ (AL90)

I find the 9-3 very pretty in general, especially with the Griffin changes. The wheels are my favorites and the car looks fresh in this color…

That is really a nice colour. I thought it only looks good on the convertible but it fits the sedan as well.

Absolutely adore this, one of my previous SAAB’s was a 9-5 Aero in a similar colour – gorgeous.
I want to see lots more new 9-3′s on the road.
