  1. Idd 2y2l8 !

  2. Yesterday swegov announced that a new “short term support” for companies that faces economical troubles because of economic turbulence in the global economies. The company would share it’s costs for the workers with the state until the economic situation once again had stabilized. The say that this was done successfully in Germany during 2008-2009…

Back in 2008-2009 when Saab cried out for help swegov said it’s Saabs own problem. They knew that Germany supported their own auto industry in the way described above (and in even more ways). Now when it’s too late for Saab they think it’s a brilliant idea.

I will NOT vote for any of the ruling parties in Sweden again (I have voted for them in all selections so far) as long as Borg and Reinfeldt has any power. They screwed up big time.

    • Where is the edit button?!? :(

It should be elections not selections above.

    • Who said SweGov waited for Saab to go bankrupt before adopting this programme?

It cannot be true, can it?

Someone must show the PM the exit door. This is beyond stupidity.

      • That would not be the first stupid thing Borg and Reinfeldt had done. I’m actually scared of how they handle our country, in a few years the have ruined many things that took ages to build. For instance they sell our common property that we payed for with tax money, they sell large pieces of it and they sell it really cheap. A care centre with about 10000 patients, doctors, nurses and everything, a running business for example. How much do we sell it for? Well, €70000, it can’t be worth more!?

        • Amazing, really!
And this was Täby, if I remember correctly, Reinfeldts home “town”, run by his wife.

          • Sure was. But I didn’t tell the most amazing part of it. Soon after the sale the center was sold once more. The price this time?
€2000000. Yes, with six zeros. Someone made really good money out of it, and it for sure wasn’t the taxpayers. But the media didn’t care, they were too busy bringing the opposition leader down.

      • My guess is that the new social democratic leader will be very popular at the next election since he is a man that stands behind the industry and know what the industry need to be competitive. The ruling alliance has lost touch with reality and only looks for solutions in their own manifest incapable of see the big picture.

  3. How about a trip to the White House and then Detroit instead?

  4. Laughable. Pretty late attempt to preserve their reputation.

  5. If things get better for SAAB, they want (need) to be in the picture…

  6. I thought TimR would like this story ;)

  7. Think the officals are showing up because of the airplane Gripen-Deal with Switzerland. This deal is actually becoming very weak.

  8. I certainly hope the government officials do not pressure the administrators into not selling Saab whole. Didn’t we hear that the government was interested in a deal with Volvo for electric cars. It is terrible that they have come up with this cost sharing plan now that Saab has been declared bankrupt. Maybe it’s by design–they waited until Saab went under because it would cost so much to offer Saab that kind of support, given the size of the company. But it sure would have helped keep Saab alive in 2011.
