Saab Club Finland – Winter Fun 2012

One of my twitter contacts is the Saab club of Finland and today I received a tweet from them saying that they had had a great day on the ice.
Saabs on ice!
Here’s some footage from ice track today. The red Saab 96 is a V4 Rally and the yellow one is V4 Rallycross edition (Power steering, extremely lightened body, used to have injection engine but now has carburettors).

I like the ice road. I was hoping to take my car on the ice up in Bayfield, Michigan. I’m going to call and see how thick the ice is. What fun! Oh by the way, if there’s any deal, it might happen on a weekend.

Damn! I just called Rittenhouse Inn up in Bayfield,WI. The ice road to Madeline Island isn’t open this year. Too warm. I thought that might be the case. I might ask Mrs Vagabond if she wants to go up there anyway for some winter activities.
