Team Traction Added Service Center In The UK

For our friends in the UK, namely Canterbury, Saab Parts UK has added an authorized repair facility. Team Traction is now an authorized Saab Service Center. From the Saab website, below is an introduction to their facility:

We would like to inform you that Team Traction have recently become an Authorised Saab Service Centre.

We have many years experience in the motor trade and have a good reputation in the Canterbury area. We have trained Saab technicians, carry an extensive Saab parts stock and specialist Saab tooling to enable us to carry out all Saab servicing and repairs.

Listed below are some of the services that Team Traction will offer you as a loyal Saab customer:

  • Delivery and collection service
  • Overnight delivery of Saab parts and accessories
  • Loan cars
  • MOT’s by appointment while you wait
  • Bodyshop repairs

As an introductory offer, valid until 31st July, we will also offer you a FREE vehicle health check along with a complimentary replacement Saab bonnet badge – please contact us for further information.

The team are looking forward to welcoming you and providing the highest level of vehicle care for your Saab.

Team Traction is a 25 year old family run service center with a wide selection of pre-owned vehicles available for sale. As of July 2, 2012 they are now offering Saab service and parts and even have a 2011 9-5 for sale.

In an interview with Car Dealer Magazine, Team Tractions after sales manager Anthony Surtees says:

‘We pride ourselves on delivering excellence in everything we do and key to that is the service we offer our customers.

‘We are very pleased to join the Saab Authorised Repairer network and our dedicated and courteous team are all looking forward to working with such an iconic model range and delivering a first class service to our new Saab customers.’

Personally, being from Canada, I know nothing of this dealer to recommend them but I do know that they are filling a void and providing service work for customers in need. They do have trained Saab specialist and will have a fully stocked parts department.

Even the what seems like small things like this are big things and will help to ensure that you have a place to go to maintain your car and to continue to enjoy your Saabs for years to come.

I’ve been doing a lot of post lately on clubs, groups and dealers and they kind of all go hand in hand. Clubs and groups usually start when two or more people meet and having a dealer or service center that can be there to support you to ensure your car is in top shape will help to keep you moving and hey, you may just meet someone while waiting for your car to finish on a service visit. You’d be surprised too as to how many dealers will welcome you group or club to meet at their facilities.
