Museum list is on its way
January 4, 2013 in News
For more than half a year now we’ve been looking for a good solution on how to post all the names of the contributors on a list close to the last 9-3 at the Saab Car Museum. We’ve now finally found a solution…
We’ve asked around different companies and gotten the most horrible suggestions as per price and design so in the end we just decided to do it ourselves. Jason wrote a really great story on how the last 9-3 came to be and I’ve added a bit of text to that story along with some photos. Till has now taken over that project and will create a nice book that will be placed next to the car. But on top of that we’re also adding a pad that displays a huge series of photos from the production, photo shoot and delivery of the car, giving the story more life.
The book should be done within a few weeks and will then be taken to the museum. We’ll also create a PDF version of the book as well as publish the photos so that everyone here can get their own copy…

if any help is required designing the board of names, i’m only too happy to help. I know my way around Gill Sans!

The names will be displayed in the book.

Slightly off subject Tim, but with regards to the museum. Do you have any more information regarding the “Associate Membership” that has been spoken about? I for one am very keen to help support the museum for the future, Thanks Grant.

I know that the association has been created but to my knowledge the first board meeting is in May. I don’t know much more than that at the moment…
