SOTW, Taras and the two Aeros

Hello Robin,

My name is Taras, I live in New Jersey, and sometimes Florida USA
Currently I have 2 Saabs, ’07 9-3 Aero Convertible (lime-yellow) and 9-4X Aero (silver)

Recently, I took a trip to Toronto, Canada, and took some pix of 9-4X Aero with Ontario Lake scenery in the back ground.

The 9-3 is vacationing in Florida right now, hibernating in the warm garage. Only 9-4X is forced to be driven the cold New Jersey.

In 2 weeks I will be in Florida re-uniting them, and will take them both to Daytona Beach for a photo session right by the ocean.

Please find the pix below for your SOTW collection.

Thank You,

Taras Mazur

A big thank you to Taras for sharing pictures of these to beautiful Saabs

Great photos! It looks like the 9-4X loves the cold πŸ™‚

If Saab only could be reborn with the 9-4X and 9-5 again… I really don’t want to own a Volvo but I’ll probably end up with one πŸ™

Coke is it: take a good look at the Buick Lacrosse! If you liked or had the 9-5, you’ll be able to relate to the Lacrosse. Check it out before you pull the trigger on a Volvo.

Ah, just because they share a frame and some engine parts doesn’t make them even close to the same car. That is like saying a NG9-3 is like a Pontiac G6. I had a Lacrosse for a rental a while ago and was so disappointed. Having test drove the NG 9-5 (in both the Turbo4 and Aero models), there was nothing that made me relate to the Lacrosse. See Sadly the Lacrosse was Buick in every why. I nice ride on on a highway, but I will leave it at that. So glad the NG 9-5 and 9-4X made… Read more »

The car that could’ve saved Saab, IMO. The 94-X was probably more important than the 9-5, certainly here in Australia. The premium SUV market was still there for the taking at the time, and I think the 9-4X is a really handsome car that would’ve changed the perception of Saab. Too bad it never made it.
