I didn’t do a full head count but I think we had about 20 cars and about 25 people here and some are still here enjoying conversation. Great turnout from the SCWC.
we were about the same number in Montreal, but our saabs were as shiny as we just had quite a snowfall last night…. quite an interesting afternoon we had at the F1 race track.
Fresh snow, a crisp -16degC (-26 with wind chill) and clear blue skies in Montreal, PERFECT! I’ve had a quick scan of the photos I took and added a few of the shots that stood out. Not sure if we can add titles to each photo, but if not, I guess they’ll speak for themselves. That’s our fearless leader of the Montreal gathering holding the sign. Great job Michel. Hopefully we’ll see the group shot soon!
Hi guys, i just created a Facebook group “we are many, we are Saab Montreal”. I would like to bring as much people as we can. Post your pictures, videos and comments, also we’ll be able to speak about are passion for the brand and share informations on “Saab Montreal” Thank You
Last time I checked only Oakville was listed. I should have checked again. DOH!
I see that Gravel was the driving force behind the meet. I kept looking at the SAAB Laval site instead.
Sorry you missed it Mike, every car and Saab fan counts. Having said that, since you do have the sticker on your car, perhaps the official car counters can +1?
Snap a picture of you and your car (sticker in view) with a nice background, upload it and you’re in! As others have said, all it takes is one Saab or one Saab-minded person to be part of this. Do it, it’ll make you feel better and I want to see your ride.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to show your support of SAAB at Aktive Motors in Oakville(Toronto), Canada.
The SAAB Spirit was alive and well today. We are proud to say that we had almost 80 cars registered with over 120 people in attendance. SAAB is a company worth saving, and today shows that it has a loyal customer base around the world. We truly hope that this global support meeting for SAAB will clearly show the administrators in Sweden and any interested buyer that SAAB is a viable brand worth keeping alive……
I just wanted to thank Christian, his family and Aktive Motors for being such gracious hosts. They really went all out, and it was a really wonderful event.
Mos of all, it was really great seeing all of that enthusiasm and passion that Saab inspires.
Definitely makes Saab something worth saving in my books.
Thanks to the 19 brave Saabs that turned out at Emily Murphy Park, Edmonton on a cool Saturday morning January 14, to enjoy some hot chocolate, good company and wish for future Saabs!

Montreal?
How come it wasn’t listed in the Canadian events? I would have gladly participated. I even have my We Are SAAB sticker on my car.

Wouldn’t mind if they would. This whole tragedy is really bringing me down. It’s tough loosing a brand one has driven for 20+ years.

In Toronto/Oakville [Aktive Motors] I’d conservatively say 75 people. Food, cheer generously hosted by Christian and Co. warmed on a -15 C day!

Glad to see such a good turn out in TO and to see another Canadian event. Hope you all enjoyed the time together.
