The location of the Stuttgart meeting on the 15.01.12 was the Meilenwerk Stuttgart, a famous combination of workshops for classic cars, car-related magazines, cafes and restaurants and last but not least an exhibition of exclusive historic cars, situated in the buildings of the pre-war Stuttgart airport. More than 100 Saabs carrying more than 200 people found their way to Stuttgart, most of them had to drive 100 km or more, one of them came from Berlin and drove 650 km, two others were from Switzerland just to join the meeting. There was range of almost all models Saab ever produced from
the early two stroke 96 up to five 9-5 new generation. We even managed it to get a 96V4 inside the building between the exclusive cars of the exhibition which was a nice surprise not only for Saabdrivers but also made a lot of normal visitors alert of what was going on on the Saab parking outside the building.
The local Saab dealer joined the meeting with 2 special cars, a Sonett II V4 and a 99 EMS which he will use for the Classic Rallye Monte Carlo 2012. All in all we had a great day in Stuttgart, thank you all people came all the way to show who Saab really is!

Böblingen @ Meilenwerk
Nice event, but less cars than St. Gallen/ Schwägalp yesterday
I went up with Swizzy and his girl friend Marianne. We made a mini convoy with two cars and arrived first on place after a nice ride on german autobahn.
We had 3 new 95, an old Sonett, two old 96 2 stroke, a 96 V4, 99s, 900 classics (one with an airflow kit), a lot 9000s, 900 ng/ 93-I, a good amount of 93 convertibles, 93x, 93xwd a 97 and some 95-I.
Cars were presented on one side of the place like the heritage one after each other.
