• Which 9-4 do you have? The Aero already has a carbon fiber look fascia — you might be able to get this as a part from Saab.

  • I just “registered” my interest on their website contact form.

  • Excited about this. Would definitely go for the 3 piece — I will consider the 7 but would have to do it without the wife finding out about the price. Hard to manage.

Curious about this. Vtuner did my old 9-3 to 320hp I believe. You’re saying it’s 335 now?

Well, My 9-5 is not an SC, but I’m proud to say I have these very cars. If you’ve ever seen the inside of an 9-4x Aero, you might agree that many of the refinements coming to the 9-5 in 2012 were already in […]

I mean the trapezoidal brake light that’s ”mounted” on the lower part of the rear window, not the big long light along the trunk. Is that what you meant?

Well, we got bit in the butt but the no-spare-tire decision. I got a shard of metal in a tire, which resulted in a reasonably fast leak, although not a blowout. The flat-fix kit was useless. Fortunately, we were only 20 miles from a relative and were able to make it there and spend the night at their house until the next day. With two small…[Read more]

    • I bought an extra rim, primarily because I didn't know how hard they'd become to find in case we curbed one, but hope to try and fit it in the back somehow. I can't imagine a spare kit is available to fit in the cargo area under the floor, but I haven't checked the Cadillac site for it either.

Sorry to hear about your flat. I think I will…[Read more]

Well, I spoke too soon. For the first time, I saw a ”service rear axle” warning. Did you ever find anything out about this?

  • I have a few lights in my third brake light out. Anyone dealt with this issue and replacement?

    • If you're referring to the middle tail light section then yes - I replaced mine over the summer. At the time it was the last part in stock (for the entire country). My car had about 30,000 miles at the time and it cost $475 + labor (summer 2012).

I ended up keeping the damaged one just in case.

      • I mean the trapezoidal brake light that's "mounted" on the lower part of the rear window, not the big long light along the trunk. Is that what you meant?

        • That's definitely a different brake light - I didn't even know the car had one (although I should have since its the law).

      • The good news is the trunk light bar is still available. I, too, just got it replaced yesterday and it would have cost around $475+labor had my dealer not covered it.

The bad news is I do not have a cost for the brake light (lower part of rear windshield) ... I can't imagine it would be more than $100 or 2, plus labor. So that is LED also?

  • And the 6cyl engine? Please?

      • Speaking of which, I got the no-cost BG Products/oil change yesterday at Saab of Memphis. The only thing they didn't have at the ready was the paperwork, which they said they'd be mailing me this week or next. In any case, I'm "in."

No, it happens immediately while turning. I’m going to try to pay attention to the circumstances next time. My wife drives it most of the time.

  • Cool! Now make something to beef up my 2010 9-5, please!

Not extremely slowly, like only when pulling in a driveway or something. I would need to examine the circumstances to see if there’s a trend. It’s a light but consistent scraping sound.
