Not impressed at all. I recall those performance figures already from 2011. They’d better keep up.

Well said. All the best for Mark.
volvo, my #2 choice. I drove a a S60 R design manual D4 during a Roadshow and they wanted me to also try the V60 D4 8speed automatic, which I did. Liked both of them, but mostly the S60 because I’m a sedan guy. T6 not available
One think that I don’t understand is the lack of support of some Swedish people towards their own brands. Saab is…[Read more]

Well, I’m glad the SAAB name is still controlled by SAAB AB and Scania. Depending on the business plan, they have the right to authorize (or not) its use. Would you like to see a miserable car, made who knows where carrying the SAAB name? I wouldn’t. I honestly think that if the companies willing to close a good deal are serious enough, they could…[Read more]
By the way, I wanted things to work out for NEVS so badly that I even applied for an IT job there a few months ago. That was how I was commited to the company. And then delays and rumours happened
Yes, I appreciate many things NEVS have done, including stepping forward and get the deal done. Going electric (at least with some models) is also a thing I really like and I’m still convinced that this was the major reason why the bankrupt lawyers wanted them to get the company and made things so hard for anyone else. But the “deep pockets”…[Read more]
So if I have understood it right, it seems that Mahindra was more than serious about the brand and developing new products. So, were these last 2 years a complete waste of time? I’m guessing many of us here saying already “I told you so!”
Selling 2-300000 6-series competitors seems to ambicious for brand in coma for so long.
Improve quality, safety, engines and don’t feel ashame to ask the right money for that.
It is important to have a 9-1/9-2 Luxury ASAP (yes expensive, build reputation/branding from it like Fiat 500); Try to sell over 70000 while selling new 9-3 sedans and…[Read more]
Why would they? It seems for me, from a distance, that many Swedish people would prefer to buy an imported car than their own brands (yes I’m talking about the others from Gottemburg, which look great by the way, and a 2.0 tubo and supercharged …that’s engineering!).
Maybe people think there’s already too many brands outhere.

I still see so many of those german new “premium” cars around here, much newer than mine and they still haven’t xenon! I’m happy with mine, by the way. Can you imagine a system like that going wrong, keeping the light at maximum all the time, blinding all the other drivers?
OK, now this is a more interesting car. Why should people buy an “old” car when they could by a new Mondeo, for example, with also a 2.0 putting 240bph?
I say: make them faster, safer and refined at a minimum and you’ll have a Saab.
