Not sure if there is much hope for an ICE Saab anymore. NEVS doesn’t seem to be that interested in it.

Fantastic car! indeed of much better quality than the later model years. Considering how very cheap one can buy those 9-5s they’re probably the cars with the best value for the money.

Indeed pluginns will never work. But, a small gas-turbine driving electric motors could work, and above a certain speed the gas-turbine can take over and provide power directly.

Electric cars might work withiin cities and could replace absurd cars like the Smart, but it would never work for long-distance driving, over mountains, in winter etc.

GM srewed up a great ‘cockpit’ ,
eventually they did the same with the OG 9-5 dash….
I kinda understand why some people fall back on driving an old 9000 again…
