This is not just BMW. The general automotive telematics status is; either you’ve already implemented the technique or you’re in the process of doing it. This is not something new, it has been around at least 15-20 years. It is the acceptance and cost that has changed I believe. When it comes to integrity, have a look at Octo. They [Octo]…[Read more]
Ahh this is great. Kudos Orio, for bringing this one up. As a SAAB nut I always explain every headline SAAB makes in the newspaper. This specific ‘Blocket’ classified was sent to me numerous times a couple of weeks ago. That’s how life is when you work and live in the town of the other swedish car brand. So, Orio, Kudos!

Great article. If it was posted on the BMW blog. I must ask what the interest would be for a SAAB blog site to write about BMW and their models, museum etc.? Here is my advice and feedback as a SAAB fan reading SAABSUNITED as often as I can: Write the 99 turbo article and replace this article with that one The BMW cars and their history are…[Read more]
Brand is way more important than some people seem to understand. Griffin is gone. Whatever people says it is an important piece of the image. Imagine Jaguar without the cat. Now the SAAB name is probably gone? Then, I’m afraid, it is not much left. As stated in several articles, Mahindra wants to slap the SAAB brand to some Mahindra and Ssangyong…[Read more]

Carbon fibre. Unparalleled they say. How about Trifilon(new Swedish patented green composite technology)? Stronger AND lighter. Wouldn’t that be something if SAAB returned from the dead, fully equipt with the ideas from Sonett (So Light) project combined with Trifilon? I still have some samples of the sandwhich construction I received at a Sonett…[Read more]
Great news, thanks Hirsch and NEVS! However, the article seems to contain some typo’s. The co-op is between Hirsch and NEVS and not Farid, whoever that is. Also, the representatives from NEVS&Hirsch at Maptun Meet will share the news to everyone at the event not just “me” Anyways, impressive work made by Hirsch. To reach that power output just…[Read more]

Congrats! Going to build sub’s?
Ontopic: Like many others, I’m delighted to see those Scania trucks packed with brand new SAAB’s! NEVS are certainly building confidence here. SAAB up!
I’ve seen it IRL. Not sure about IRL performance though but it ought to do the job.
Did you check out the link (I couldn’t add the pic like you did)? Now, you say it is about the density of the non existing side support OK, fair enough, I can accept the fact that if a side support is made of […]
Tim seriously, hold on for a minute now. At first when I heard allegations about you being 100% pro Nevs no matter what they do or come up with, I thought it was a bit unfair but then you stated this.
“(…) you […]
This is also kind of interesting. First legal 9-5 on swedish roads. Check this guy out http://www.automotorsport.se/artiklar/nyheter/20131105/han-blir-forst-med-nya-saab-9-5-sportcombi Use google translate for non-swedes…
