I would say bad news…BAD NEWS

I wonder how many bidders were asked to to negotiate a final deal.. More importantly, how many are looking to play that game..

the difficult part would be filtering out which bid is better than the other… I would think that they would have to weigh GM friendly bids in a different manner than what the Chinese would give…

A couple of thoughts on GM.
I feel that this news can be spun in a positive way for SAAB’s future with respect to restart of production.

I am not a fanboy of GM. But I would imagine the tone of this interview is lost in translation. Typically, when you translate from another language into English, you lose all pleasantries.

“fastest growing” does not mean much… If you are at the bottom of the car sales pool and you own 5% of the market and you double to 10% in one year…. you are up 100%…. Hard to use those “growing” numbers […]

I believe Mr. Qingnian is forgetting one important domino in the Saab’s bankruptcy filling… GM did not no allow VM to work with any Chinese companies….
