We all have waited this long. I do recall that the Italian maker Alfa Romeo was sidelined for some time 10 years I think. So lets not right off anyone at this point. If the car was made in Sweden and resembled a Saab with the Saab name on it. I would buy it, regardless if were a hybrid or electric, just as long as it looks like a Saab.

It would be great if someone with the knowledge could post a list of compatible parts for the NG 9-5. I did read somewhere that it shares many of the same parts as the Opel Insignia and Buick Lacross. If only someone from GM Europe could tell us?

I recall my first trip to Trollhatten in 1998. ANA looked like the United Nations with all its flags flying and pretty blue building. How I dreamed of owning my own Saab dealership here in the states that resembled something like ANA. Trued it sounds like the end for us Saab lovers? I will keep my 05 Aero as long as possible. I wonder if the court will approve another extension considering they just got one in December. I mean are we going to keep on extending it month after month. I cant imagine anyone willing to put up their hard earned money on this 2014 car with this unknown future in the brand. What about warren-tee issues with parts, and service?
Sorry Tim, but I have to agree with Angelo on this. BMW and Merc are not the standard in the automotive world. Look at what Kia is doing or Hyundai. Have you seen that new Genesis? It looks fantastic and much of Hyundai is outsource. No I think Saab would do just fine outsourcing its stuff from Norway (Haldex) or whomever.

Alright, would it be called, 900? It would have to be 9 something right? Perhaps if the name of the company is not Saab then it could be anything,
Yes, provided we get a glimpse of the new 9-3.
Ok, I see. I thought I was reading it right and was wondering where Saab AB came into the picture. We’ll either way we are going to find out soon enough. Miranda has until March to come up with a deal. It would be nice to see what NEVS has come up with as far as the redesign of the 9-3. I’m sure Miranda has seen it.
When and where did this notion of Saab the defense company become the other option to restart production? I don’t recall hearing about them when the bidding and negotiating was ongoing last year. I thought of all the choices we had Miranda was the one? Now you and Tim are both saying Saab AB (the defense arm) is interested in starting production…[Read more]
Oh I hope this is what we have been waiting for. Does this include the Griffin Logo as well?
This is one of the most Righteous looking 9-3’s I have ever seen! Kudos to you for giving it all the extra stuff. I amazed at the attention to detail with lighting etc. I bet it looks even better at night?
