Couldn’t make the opening but my son and I drove down there today. What a great find even without the Saabs, but of course they were the icing on the cake. Try and get there if in the area!!

Good article but being in the US I would add one more point. I hope that Saab can remain a Global Brand and not just a European or Chinese one.

OK, so GM said no more than 20% Chinese ownership and this deal puts it at 49.9. So they are going to accept this because? ?

What am I missing? If the bank is the bank of China as rumored, wouldn’t that still put majority ownership in the hands of the Chineseas far as GM is concerned?

I have the 2003 version of that car without the Diesel engine, just a V-6. It has 165,000 miles and is going strong and except for the worn seats the interior looks exactly the same today. That dash really held up.
