I’ve been on Saabs United for some while so decided to join this crop. Currently driving a Black 2001 SE which I’ve had for about 9 months. This is my 4th Saab, first was a 1990 9000 T16S, next was a 1994 900 SE V6, probably the worst engine ever fitted to a Saab, then I had a 1998 9.5 2.3 SE and now the 9.3. Classic Drivers 1 week, 3 days agoJust remeber that my first car was a SAAB V4 that i put a Ford V6 into, it was a rocket on the ice:) Later i changed it for a 99 LE….with tons of probs with electonics
but overall a fun time asadriver beginner! -

9-5 Drivers (1998-2010) 2 weeks, 4 days agohi i have a Saab 9-5 SE wagon 76k on it when i put my foot on the gas initially it makes a strange sound. just purchased 2mos ago does anyone have any ideal what this may be.

I think you need to be a bit more specific about what the sound, sounds like and from where its coming from… what rpms are you driving at, speed, does the sound variety with how much you depress the throttle etc?

9-3 drivers (2002-2011) 1 month agoHi!!! New here, and from August last year i have a beautiful SAAB 9-3 Saloon with 1.8i engine. It’s not new, is from 2007, but is a lovely car. Anyway, I posted a picture in Photo Gallery.
