Saab 9-4x on exhibit in Sweden

The Swedish town, Jönköping, is where the Elmia Subcontractors exhibition is being held this week. Around 1200 supplier companies from the global automotive industry will be present, a number of them being Saab’s own local suppliers.
Saab are showing off the Saab 9-4x there, in what’s believed to be the first European industry showing of the vehicle. I’m pretty sure it was shown in France some time last year, though at a more arty event than automotive.
Apparently the predominant feeling amongst attendees is one of an imminent dawn shining over what’s been a pretty dark industry in recent times.
It should be noted that the display car showing at the Elmia event is the Saab 9-4x BioPower concept, which was first shown at the North American International Auto Show (Detroit) in January 2008.
The production vehicle will be very close the concept in terms of exterior looks, though the inside will likely be more like the new Saab 9-5.
