God Yul wishes for Saab and Trollhattan

It’s just a few days before Christmas and things are quietening in Trollhattan. Of course, this city is the home of Saab, but it’s also a place I’ve come to love, having visited there twice now.
It has been a very long year for these hardy Swedes and there’s no respite yet, as they await the negotiations between GM and the two parties bidding for the acquisition of Saab Automobile.
I just wanted to take a moment to post my Christmas greeting for Trollhattan residents and Saab employees here.
The reason Saabs United exists, the reason people visit here, is because we’re car people, and the cars we love to drive are Saabs.
To all the good people at Saab in Trollhattan and around the world, this means that your work fuels our passion. Personally speaking, I’m very grateful for all that you do and I want to wish all of you a very happy Christmas and a better, brighter and much quieter 2010.
You people in Trollhattan are an inspiration and you deserve to carry on doing what you do best.
Merry Christmas to you all, and whilst I’m here I’ll pass on a Christmas wish from my colleagues at the Saabs United Historic Rally Team.
All of you SU regulars are welcome to post your holiday messages to Saab and the people of Trollhattan here in comments.
I’m not sure how many locals actually look around here, but I’m sure that those who do might appreciate your thoughts.
