People seem to be very keen on drawing Saabs since the company separated from General Motors a few months ago. They know there’s a few new models around the corner and they’re keen to imagine how they might look, both the 2012 Saab 9-3 and the possible smaller Saab.
Autobild have published some familiar images drawn up by Motor Forecast that show their image of the next Saab 9-3. Click here for four images.
I understand the need to use the design language of the Saab 9-5, but this just isn’t doing it for me. My imagination sees the hatch variant being the core of that new model, and it doesn’t see it as some pseudo-hatch that apologises for being what it is (see img #2 at Autobild).

Another site called Motorbox has published some images of what it sees in store for a smaller Saab.
There seems to be two variations here: one with a teardrop shape at the back a-la descriptions by Victor Muller, and one with a more 9-X type rear.

I think I prefer the 9-X type rear, personally.
