Saab sales data – Sweden – April 2010

We’re not back in positive territory just yet, but it’s an improvement.
Saab sales have been down around 60% every month for a long, long time now. That was during the Saab sale crisis when promotion and production both virtually ceased and there was plenty of bad publicity about the company.
There were 528 Saabs sold in Sweden during April, a 14.7% fall from the 619 sold in the same month last year.
Saab 9-3
There were 330 units of the Saab 9-3 sold during April. That’s 14% down from the 384 sold in the same month last year.
107 of those were diesels, which was actually 40% more than the diesel sales content in the same month last year.
Saab 9-5
There were 198 units of the old Saab 9-5 sold in Sweden during April, down almost 15% from the 235 sold in the same month last year.
Like I said at the start – Saab aren’t there yet, but they’re on the way! Once they get that new 9-5 out and get some stocks at dealers, this will really move along.
