Last month, Saab had their first sales rise in the Swedish market in more than two years. This month, unfortunately, Saab headed back into negative territory.
It’s not all doom and gloom, though.
The Saab 9-3 sold well, with a 27.5% rise over sales numbers from last year. There were 708 deliveries of the Saab 9-3 in June, against 555 in the same month last year.
Saab slipped into negative overall deliveries due to the outgoing Saab 9-5. There were 130 deliveries of the Saab 9-5 during June, which was down by 56% from the 295 delivered in the same month last year.
That makes for total deliveries of 838 vehicles, just a little down from 850 delivered in June 2009.
Those figures will grow significantly once deliveries of the new 9-5 commence.
