Spotted at a dealership. Location and all names withheld for fear it might be remedied and spoil the funkiness ๐

Ohboy.
Quite an uh-oh…
๐
Ha! Love it! New trend ๐
Driving behind a Lincoln Mercury Marquis last week both badges on the trunk were upside-down. Not sure if it was done on purpose but it did evoke a 2nd look ๐
I had considered doing that on my Saab E-6 but that would make it less special.
Haha!!!
I think I will soon be the proud owner of a SAAB 006!
Probably shouldn’t do that on my car.
9-5 upside down looks like S6.
FAIL.
You should be happy, Swade. Finally, documentary proof that Saab IS coming back to Oz…
haha very nice! I’ll assume this is an Oz car rather than a quality control mistake from Trollhattan (such a QC error would be hard to imagine, anyhow).
We don’t have any 9-5’s here in Oz.
But I do like your reasoning there, Adrian ๐
Oops!… Look at it in this way.. “Oh, I Be Power” (ful)
I truly hope that Saab won’t remove the griffin from the exterior. The newer SAAB badge is alright but a complete removal of the griffin would be dumb. I read about it a couple of weeks ago in a 9-5 review, no official thoughts from Saab though.
Agree Saab should retain the Griffin badge unless they can’t improve it so it does not peel off. Occasionally, yes, I see a BMW badge chipped away, but far more often than not, Saab’s Griffin is the peeler in the crowd and that looks bad for the brand.
Oh yeah, the peeling problem. Why don’t they add a thin protection film or something? It can’t be too difficult.
Just replace the badge with 3d decals. I did about 3 years ago, they’re still fine and look better than the originals.
Why cannot Saab replace bad badges when the cars are in for service?
They are loosing customers on every bad badge.
