Voting open in Saab’s US Facebook competition

Saab Cars North America are running a competition on Facebook (too late to enter, but at least you can see what it was about at that link). People were asked to make a video showing their Scandinavian spirit. The winners, to be chosen by a public vote, will win a trip to the Ice Hotel in northern Sweden.

I wish I could tell you more about how this competition has progressed, but I can’t even see it.

The competition is only visible to US users of Facebook, so I can’t show you any of the entries, nor can I tell you how many there were. And you? Unless you’re in the US, you can’t enjoy them either.

I can tell you, however, that a recent Saab buyer has submitted an entry and has been selected as a finalist. Eric B in Denver was pretty excited about it, too. First he picks up a new 9-5 (at a bargain price, I might add) and now he’s a candidate for a trip to the Ice Hotel.

It’s been a very Saaby couple of months for him!
