“The Nomad is a roaming pop-up cinema experience, dedicated to creating carefully crafted, inspiring and powerful film events, high impact aesthetically, low impact on the environment – we couldn’t think of a more suitable partner than Saab.
We’ve been really impressed with their commitment to supporting our adventure, and their commitment to having a little bit of fun along the way!”
Joe Copeman of Pearl & Dean said: “We are very excited to be able to announce the headline sponsorship of such an exciting property. Both Nomad & Saab share very similar brand values, making them the perfect partners. This is exactly the type of new opportunity that Pearl & Dean embrace and are delighted to work with Nomad & Saab to push cinema into new and exciting places.”
I’ve never heard of something like that, but cinema always attracts people, so I think it is an interesting sponsorship.

Well it’s better than cricket………
Great to see some stuff like this happening. These events may not be the equivalent of the world cup, but it gets our name out there in a way the would probably cost much more through traditional advertising means.
Great that Saab is supporting cultural events like that , 🙂
Truly epic interview today with Vladimir Antonov about saab in the swedish TV program named “Gran Turismo” on channel 8. It is recorded during the midnight sun rally. The interview is at the end of the program. But the episode starts with a very tough test drive in a spyker. There is plenty of other interesting cars as well in this episode.
It is season 2 episode 4, you will soon be able to stream it from this web site. I don´t know if it will work outside of sweden though.
Thanks, works outside Sweden as well 🙂
Saw the comment from Polismyndigheten and couldn’t resist sharing an interesting fact. The day of the (very exciting) England/India game (they drew), the traffic to Saab.co.uk doubled. I checked the source of the referrals, and sure enough almost exactly half were from cricinfo. I understand that cricket is not everyone’s cup of tea, but it works…
David, you are doing a great job at SaabGB.
The Nomad sponsorship is a very classy act. 🙂
March should be the month of Saab GB.
