Quick notice.
As you might have noticed we have some small glitches and we are trying to sort them out. One post was lost during the night due to failure of the backup server, but we are in process of restoring it and digging into what happened with main server.
New posts seems to be popping up now anyway.
Peter, now everything seems to work but I am just curious why http://saabklubben.se points to the old server and http://saabsunited.saabklubben.se points to the new server?
Also, again I am just curious, is it working well to have a server with heavy website traffic behind a dynamic IP adress?
At the moment not sure why http://s* points to old server, gonna have to check with guy hosting the dns (not us yet).
Seeing as static IP ain’t possible here yet, we are working with the cname and short ttl’s that will minimize the impact with dynamic dns, not that it ever changes, maybe twice per year, but it happens.
Sadly though for a transition period till we get things going optimally, this is what we have.
The transition was somewhat sudden for all parties due to some aspects..
