The October Fest in Walnut Creek, CA (which is part of the San Francisco Bay Area) was a hit. We had about 60 people show up and having the parking lot filled with a variety of Saabs was a truly glorious sight. The Bay Area Saab Club was there, we had a Saab Trivia Contest and Raffle Drawing with prizes from the kind folks at StateOfNine. The food wasn’t nearly as fancy as what they had in Trollhättan, but for all of you that know about Costco: you know that they make some decent hotdogs! It was a fun event for sure. Here are some pictures from the event:

Thanks to everybody, especially you, Ryan! It was truly great to see so many beautiful Saabs and such an enthusiastic group of people.
Great cars, an interesting Saab trivia contest, good eats, Saab fanatics from all over, and warm hospitality from Dirito Brothers Saab. All in all, a great day. Thanks, Ryan.
Incredible amount of SAAB eye candy. A lot of Viggens in attendance! And a 91 or 92 9000T in steel grey–just gorgeous. Test drove the 9-5 6MT and it’s just fantastic. Dirito folks are super awesome, as usual.
Thanks to SU, Dirito Bros, and Ryan for a great event. There hasn’t been a better turnout of SAAB enthusiasts in Northern California since the Bay Area SAAB Club hosted SOC’96 up at Kirkwood.
I am happy that everyone had a great time. I must admit that this took quite a bit more work to put on than I expected, but hanging out with all the awesome folks, seeing all the beautiful cars, and test driving the new 9-4X and 9-5 made it all worth it!
