If any of you are near Birmingham on Sunday (13.11.11) and fancy looking at a few hundred classic cars then head over to the NEC to this years Classic Car Show.

The Saab Owners Club of Great Britain are there and once again Ellie Wilson has put together a great stand.

Way to go Saab Owners Club of Great Britain, way to be out there and tell the Saab story. It is clubs like this that show people how special Saab is.

Great photos – I live in Birmingham but unfortunately due to other commitments was not able to visit the show. I did spot a pic of a car badged as a Renault 19 which in fact is a Renault 16. This was a lovely car to drive (mine had beige leather seats which were like armchairs!) but more importantly, bearing in mind the discussion re what should SAAB do to survive, it was in production for 15 YEARS!.
