The Footman James 34th Bristol Classic Car Show (UK)

On the weekend of 20 & 21st April The Footman James 34th Bristol Classic Car Show will take place at the Royal Bath & West Showground, Somerset, United Kingdom.

It is possibly the oldest classic car show in the UK.

The local Saab Group, Great Western Saabs, along with a little help from South West Saab will have a stand which is 24 x 5 metres!! Dave believes this too not only the largest single marque stand at the show, but may also be the largest SAAB stand ever assembled at an indoor show in the UK.

The event is held over the weekend of the ‘Drive it Day’ and will have a dedicated parking area for classic cars. More info and a full list of participating cars to follow.

The exciting line up of classics now include:
* The world’s first ‘hot hatch’
* Touring car champions from the 60s
* The ‘Black Beauty’ diplomatic car
Fancy yourself as a perfectionist behind the wheel?
…because that’s what it will take to win our All-Forwards Slalom Autotest. That’s right: for the very first time, we have arranged a driving challenge that you can take part in.

Open to all classic owners who bring their car to the show, this challenge takes place throughout the weekend, with a winners and runner-up prize each day.
Free prize draw
We also have a 14-drawer combination tool chest to give away, courtesy of those marvellous folks at down at Strongman Tools.

The Footman James 34th Bristol Classic Car Show will feature up to 1500 classics indoors and outdoors, a classic car auction (Sunday) together with more gadgets, spares and autojumble than you can imagine.

  1. Really looking forward to this weekend, The 900 convertible is ready so counting down to the event. Are you coming along as well Robin?

  2. Thanks Robin – you’re a star!

Just got confirmation Helisaaber (David) has kindly agreed to have his 2 stroke on display. So we will have a fairly complete time line of SAABs from 2 stroke to 9000!

As it is on the weekend of Drive it Day, there will be a dedicated classics only car park for those visitors who arrive in a classic. In the past there has been as many classics outside as in, so it should add to a great show.

Car parking at the event is FREE.
