This weeks Saab Of The Week comes from Jaap Jan Bruinsma. The photo is of a 2008 Saab 9-5 Aero Estate on a holiday in Austria at the Kaunertal, taken at turn 18, appr. 2.000 meters above sea level. Thanks for sharing this beautiful picture with us and as always, keep the photos coming.

Those alloys always did suit the 9-5.
especially the Combi in my mind
Hauling a load up a mountain in comfort, safety and style. That is what a Saab is for. To my eye these cars always look most at home in rugged, sublime European landscapes eg, Scandinavia, Highland Scotland, the Alps, etc.
Thats what a saab is made for. ๐
The 9-5 estate/sports combi never gets old! Looks like it just rolled of the production line, a timeless design.
I agree totally with oxblod89. This is my 4th Saab 9-5 Estate! I drive a 9-5 Estate since 1999 ๐
Fantastic. In every way!

Are you getting any rear tire rubbing?
I know the car was quite heavily loaded, but no problem at all with ‘rear tire rubbing’ (that might have been a problem if I was driving a BMW ;-))
How does the car perform at 2000m ? My 95 will probably never be so high so I would love to know.
Saab have almost no power loss in the heights because of its turbo.
I indeed didn’t notice any powerloss and we even went up to 2.700 mtrs. On the other hand; it was a road with a lot of curves, so it was a slow and gentle trip.
