• Customers are conveniently connected to friendly, knowledgeable UK based advisors
• Owners are provided with an instant response to their query
• Click to chat brings owners and Saab Parts closer together
Swedes have long since integrated IT into their modern lives, regularly topping country tables in terms of internet usage per head of population. Given the vast geography of the country, new technology is enabling people to keep in ever closer contact with their friends, family and favourite brands.
Like many leading companies in their field, Saab Parts UK has now introduced a “click to chat” facility for any UK owners visiting their website. Selected via a “pop up box” at the bottom right of the homepage, you are instantly connected to a courteous and knowledgeable advisor, based in the UK, who can help answer your query quickly and save you time navigating around the website.
Announcing the new initiative, David Leighton, Sales and Marketing Manager said “click to chat is a great new way of helping Saab owners in a convenient, time saving way. Sometimes navigating a web-site can be a frustrating experience, especially if you are only searching for one item of information. Through Saab’s ‘click to chat’ facility you are instantly connected to an advisor, who can help you answer your query on the spot, or shortly afterwards via a fully tracked follow-up.”
“In the first few days of going live, click to chat has already made a noticeable difference, resulting in a number of new service club members being registered, various service and repair bookings being confirmed, plus an extended vehicle warranty sale being completed”, continued David Leighton. “In providing “click to chat” we are helping add a personal dimension to our website, putting owners in live, direct contact with us, and reinforcing the continuity of Saab with quality aftersales care.”

I’m sorry to say all is not rosy with Saab Parts UK at least in my experience. I have placed three orders with them and only one was carried through to delivery, in the others I received a cancellation email and a call from what was however a friendly member of staff. They explained the website did not reflect their stock levels, at least one of the items ordered to be found not in stock still shows 8 available on the site despite two weeks having passed. If you get lucky the prices are excellent but the website is far from reliable.
Thank you for your comment, I have asked them to take a look too. Robin.
two attempts so far and only some oil filter washers and SAAB logo purchased in the end. Website is showing one thing, parts available etc. but it takes them a week to get back to you saying in reality the parts (eg alloys in my case) are not available or qty is one…
The ladies that came back to me seem to be friendly and all. Is the UK shop run or by any means connected to netlogistics Ltd that operate thru Ebay?
I just recently had a great experience with Saab Parts North America. My 2010 NG 9-5 windshield got smashed over the winter. It has the HUD, lane dept, camera, etc. The price $2000.00 installed Well I had to wait because they were not sure when Pilkington was going to be making them. Never the less the people down in Atlanta Georgia came kept up the correspondence and let me know where it was and when I would get it. I just wanted to share with you all that it got installed and good to go.
Correct website address is: http://www.saabparts.com/en-gb/uk/
thank you for the correction, RobinM
Does the image in the background mean that you can now call Saab Parts/Orio and ask to have your embles replaced with the griffin emblems, effectively hacking into your MY14 9-3 and getting rid of the black roundels? 😀
Bravada, you are clearly an optimist 🙂 Hacking MY14 would imply RHD Saabs will be produced within the next 4 months. Haven’t hear of free emblem replacement anywhere else.
