Since there weren’t any new stories on here I searched the internet for other Saab news and found this story and thought I’d share it with everyone.

I had a 85 900 with the same wheels. They are still in my ex-wife’s garage I think. I don’t think they would look all that good on my 2003 9-3 Aero however, and they are too small. I’m also a skier, and I plan to drive my Saab to the slopes this winter and ski at age 66. I will post some photos from the hospital! And the Saab in some Arizona snow.
In the article the owner states “three people can sleep comfortably in the back”! Having owned several OG 900s I found them to be deceivingly roomy but not that spacious. so it is probably just as well that he didn’t provide more details.
3 x 8hr shifts? 😉
Fun fact: for Saab 96, there was actually a bed kit as an original Saab accessory. This was used to set up a comfortable bed for two adults in this small car. Saabklubben has a guide (though in Swedish) on how to build this kit yourself here: https://saabklubben.se/saabfakta/saab-9596-tt-v4/baddsats-saab-96/
