Meet, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Sunday of President’s weekend at the 1930 original Pacific Northwest XXX Root Beer Drive-In in Issaquah, Washington.
Volvo and Saab owners will meet for a fun day in our NW mid-winter. This event will be the same as last year with the original idea of a “Saturday Night Cruise-In Event” on an early AM mid-winter Sunday morning at the Historic XXX Root Beer Drive-In.
Please dine on some great food from the XXX Drive-In menu, visit, and see old friends again at this car event.
Open to all Swedish Volvos and Saabs cars.

I-90 east to the Issaquah exits. Take the Front street exit, right turn lane to the stop sign. Turn right, and then change lanes ASAP to enter the far left turn lane and the left green arrow at the stop light to Gilman Boulevard. Next turn left and head east on Gilman Boulevard to take the second left turn into the Virginia Mason Hospital parking lot and not the first to the XXX Drive-In, since the car event is at the Virginia Mason parking lot.

XXX Root Beer Drive-In is an AMAZING venue for Saab enthusiasts to UNITE and enjoy!!!! It is among my family’s favorite landmarks to visit when we are out in the Seattle area visiting my brother!
I am elated that SAABSUNITED has chosen XXX Root Beer for its U.S. gathering! Looking forward to February vacation on Lake Washington and hopping 90 to Gilman Blvd (in the quaint town of Issaquah)!!! Won’t be DRIVING my gorgeous maroon 2003 9-3 Saab Turbo from the East Coast, however, but sure to bring photos along!

Even though I will not make to Washington for the Car Cruise-In (USA), I believe that Saab is picking up momentum based on the February 12th article from Sweden. I am hopeful that the Saab brand will be sold in the USA very soon.
